Fife Migrants Forum (FMF) was founded by ethnic minority groups who recently arrived in Fife. FMF continues to take great pride in its effective ‘United Nations of Volunteers’ approach, which is a central tenet of FMF’s philosophy. Volunteers and workers at FMF come from various destinations such as Scotland, Ireland, Belgium, Romania, Poland, Italy, Bulgaria, and Morocco. Upon their arrival in Fife, the various ethnic minorities recognised the benefits of co-operation and, therefore, worked together to respond to the needs of Fife’s various ethnic groups, like information, advice, and support services concerning language and culture.

Fife Centre for Equalities (FCE), funded by Fife Council, started in 2014 with the vision to inspire and enable everyone we work with to take action that makes Fife a more equal, fairer place to live, work and study. FCE’s mission is to develop a harmonised approach to build a collective voice to champion equality, diversity, inclusion and social justice.

Citizens Advice and Rights Fife (CARF) provides free information and advice on a wide range of subjects – pretty much anything you might care to think of! We are well known for our welfare benefits and debt and money advice but also provide support to clients across a huge range of other topics that include work, consumer issues, relationship issues, housing, the law and your rights, discrimination, tax, healthcare and education.
