The Home Office has published new guidance on recruiting people from outside the UK from 1 January 2021. Employers will need to have a sponsor licence to hire most workers from outside the UK.
There is also a new report from the Migration Observatory at the University of Oxford added to our Readings page. “Unsettled Status 2020”, which updates previous analysis undertaken in 2018, identifies the groups who may be at risk of falling through the cracks and provides data on their likely numbers.
