For individual support, email us at welfare@citizensrightsproject.org.
Please note: While we strive to offer initial, in-house guidance on most of the issues listed above, some matters may require more specialised support. In such cases, we work closely with expert organisations that provide dedicated advice and assistance. We are not FCA-registered and cannot provide regulated financial advice. If we’re unable to help directly, we will refer you to trusted services and organisations across Scotland.

Workshops and Information Sessions

Our workshops and information sessions empower migrants with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions, avoid discrimination and exploitation, and recognise when to seek support. With many support services overstretched, these sessions aim to equip individuals with the tools to navigate challenges more independently and prevent potential issues before they arise.
We offer multilingual workshops both online and in-person, providing practical information about your rights in Scotland. Topics include:
- Benefits and financial support (including Universal Credit and Social Security Scotland)
- Debt management
- Energy advice
- Housing rights
- Rights at work
- Pensions
- Having/Adopting a baby in Scotland
