Agota has three years of third sector experience both professionally and as a volunteer. She became interested in human rights and climate justice whilst studying law at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. Since graduating in 2021, she has worked for a children and young people’s rights law centre as well as a sustainability charity before joining the Citizen’s Rights Project in June 2024.
During this time, Agota has worked on projects which have addressed issues in housing and homelessness, care leaver’s rights (including unaccompanied asylum-seeking children) and fuel poverty.
Outside of work, she is an active member of Living Rent and also volunteers for the Scottish Community and Activist Legal Project.
