Davide is a professional with extensive experience in engaging with communities, public authorities, and businesses at both national and international levels. Davide moved to Edinburgh in 2016, firstly working for a Scottish law firm and then taking on the role of Head of Scotland Office at the Italian Chamber of Commerce for the UK. Davide currently serves as Policy Manager at the devolved government of Scotland.
Passionate about human rights and well-versed in equality and inclusion matters, Davide holds an Academic Minor in Rights, Labour, and Equal Opportunities as part of his MA in International Relations and had work experience at the Italian Equality Body. From 2018 to 2021, Davide also actively supported the COMITES for Scotland and Northern Ireland, organising projects to enhance the local community’s social and cultural life.
Since 2020, Davide has been volunteering as an Immigration Adviser (OISC Level 1 limited to the EUSS) at Citizens’ Rights Project and contributed to various activities, including leading a round table for the “All Our Rights In Law” campaign in partnership with Human Rights Consortium Scotland. Since December 2020, he has served on the Board of Directors at Citizens’ Rights Project. Davide is fluent in English, Italian, Spanish, and French, having previously lived in Italy and Spain.
