Midlothian Financial Inclusion Network is a charity and a company limited by guarantee, first constituted in May 2004, and then becoming a company in April 2005. We are run by a Board of Directors, which has included representatives from the local Citizens’ Advice Bureaux, Midlothian Advice & Resource Centre, Midlothian Voluntary Action, Changeworks and other organisations who have an interest in financial inclusion. The Board is supported by advisors from Midlothian Council’s Welfare Rights Team.
Feniks was set up in 2007 as a charity supporting integration and aiming at improving the wellbeing of the Central Eastern European Community in Edinburgh. We seek to help individuals and families who have moved away from their homeland in facing the challenges which can result from immigration.
