Webinar: Administrative Reviews and Appeals in EU Settlement Scheme applications.

March 13, 2023 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

13/3/2023, 1630 – 1730 | Administrative Reviews and Appeals in EU Settlement Scheme applications. Speaker: Iain Halliday, Advocate

Although more than six million people have already applied for status under the EUSS, tens of thousands are still awaiting decisions. In addition, many applications by family members, or late applications (which can still be made) are being submitted each month. Anyone who makes a valid EUSS application and is refused, or granted only pre-settled status, can challenge the decision by lodging an administrative review to the Home Office or (depending on the date of application) by appeal to the immigration tribunal.

This webinar will explain the rules and procedure under which such reviews and appeals can be lodged. Iain is a leading expert on the EUSS and immigration law generally. He has developed a particular specialism in EU free movement law and the EU Settlement Scheme. Iain regularly appears in the immigration tribunal to represent clients in deportation, EEA, EUSS, human rights, and asylum appeals.
