The second webinar in the series will cover the subject of family reunion rights under the EU Settlement Scheme. Janey will explain who can bring family members to the UK after Brexit, which family members can be brought to the UK, and how they can apply to the EU Settlement Scheme, what constitutes a durable partnership and how to prove it, among other things.
Janey is a partner with Drummond Miller, and leads the firm’s immigration team in Glasgow. She advises on all aspects of immigration, nationality and asylum law. She regularly provides external training on immigration law and has recently delivered seminars on the EU Settlement Scheme to immigration advisors, local authorities and third-sector organisations.
* This webinar series, aimed at legal practitioners and other relevant professionals/voluntary workers, consists of 3 online sessions covering different aspects of the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS), an immigration regime introduced by the Home Office in March 2019. You can attend as many as you want.
