Gabi is an archaeologist and classicist. Born in Krakow, she graduated from the Jagiellonian University and gained her PhD from the University of Edinburgh. She has been a volunteer for the Scottish Polish Cultural Association since 2013, and soon after she became the main coordinator of various cultural events and projects in support of the partnership between the cities of Edinburgh and Krakow. She has worked closely with other Polish community groups. She is also a tutor in Classics at the University of Edinburgh, a secretary for her local Community Council, and a proud mum of two children.
