Mark Lazarowicz is an advocate at the Scottish bar, with a practice specialising in a number of areas of public law, including immigration, citizenship and human rights. He was also a Member of Parliament for 14 years, representing the Edinburgh North & Leith constituency at Westminster. Before that, he had been a councillor on Edinburgh City Council, and was Leader of the Council for 7 years.
Mark launched the “EU Citizens Rights Project – Scotland” after he found himself being regularly invited to speak at meetings of EU citizens living in Scotland who were concerned about what Brexit would mean for them. He realised that there were hardly any opportunities for them to get expert and independent information about the impact that Brexit would have on them and their families.
