Paweł Kopeć is a cultural anthropologist, graduated in Jagiellonian University, Cracow.
Since his arrival to Scotland in 2014 he has been volunteering in several projects organised by different migrant related NGOs such as Polish Cultural Festival Association, Edinburgh and Lothian Regional Equality Council, Scottish-Polish Cultural Association and Vote You Are At Home Campaign. For many years he has been involved in fighting stigma around the mental health within the Polish community with organisation Feniks. Counselling, Personal Development and Support Services, and See Me Scotland. He is co-author of the report ‘Mental Health and Suicides among Polish Men in Scotland’ (2020) and social campaign ‘Shed Your Armor, Show the Scars’ (2022) which won the Scottish Charity Award for the best social campaign.
