EU Citizens’ Rights Drop-in Session in Edinburgh

14 marca @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Together with our partners from Settled, we are collaborating in a EU Citizens’ Rights drop-in event that the Independent Monitoring Authority (IMA) will be hosting  for EU and EEA EFTA citizens living in Scotland.

This is an informal and friendly event to give EU and EEA EFTA citizens an opportunity to meet with IMA representatives and find out more about their rights now that the UK has left the EU.

The Independent Monitoring Authority for the Citizens’ Rights Agreements (IMA) protects the rights of EU and EEA EFTA citizens, and their family members in the UK and Gibraltar following the UK’s departure from the EU. We do this by monitoring public bodies to make sure they properly implement citizens’ rights and by identifying any underlying issues. We are independent of government and impartial in our work.

The rights guaranteed to EU and EEA EFTA citizens relate to:

  • Residency
  • Work
  • Social Security
  • Qualifications
  • Equal Treatment

This is a chance to speak to us about your experiences, concerns and priorities as well as learning about the IMA’s role in upholding EU and EEA EFTA citizens’ rights in Scotland.

This is a free event, but signups are helpful so we can get an indication of how many people to expect – https://orlo.uk/sBnAm

All welcome.
